My Vision for Elgin County's Schools
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment. As your TVDSB Trustee for Elgin County, my vision is to build stronger schools where students come first, parents are respected, educators are supported, and every decision is made with integrity and accountability.
Education is the foundation of a strong community. When we invest in our children, we invest in the future of Elgin County. I believe every student—regardless of their background, abilities, or circumstances—should have access to quality education, modern learning opportunities, and the support they need to reach their full potential.

A Clear Vision for Better Schools
Student Success
Support high academic standards while ensuring students receive the resources, encouragement, and opportunities they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Student Well-Being
Promote safe, respectful, and inclusive schools where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their dreams.
Parents as Partners
Parents know their children best. I will listen, communicate openly, and work together with families to make informed decisions that benefit students.
Supporting Educators
Teachers, educational assistants, support staff, and administrators are essential to student success. I will advocate for the tools, resources, and respectful working environment they need.
Responsible Leadership
As someone with a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Advanced Accounting and Auditing, I understand the importance of responsible financial management. I will support transparent decision-making and ensure public resources are used wisely and effectively.
Strong Community Partnerships
Schools thrive when communities work together. I will encourage partnerships with local organizations, businesses, volunteers, and community groups to create more opportunities for our students.
Preparing Students for the Future
Support pathways in skilled trades, technology, arts, apprenticeships, college, and university so every student is prepared for success after graduation.
